March Madness on Campus: NCAA Tournament Schools' Rankings in U.S. News Best Colleges

 










March could be the best month of the year for lovers of college hoops. Even non-fans participate in the excitement by creating an NCAA Tournament bracket. The top 68 teams in the nation are represented in the 2024 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament field. Each team's ranking in the U.S. News Best Colleges is shown here. Schools are arranged by seed and divided into the following regions: East, West, South, and Midwest. The "First Four" of the tournament pits the top 16 and 10 seeds against one another in four games to determine who advances to the main 64-team bracket. First-round games for the 64-team competition take place on March 21 and 22, followed by the Final Four in Phoenix, Arizona, on April 6.
